Paris
Paris was a blur. My cold began to work itself out of me. Well I helped it work it out with tons of tea and a bunch of random european drugs for immunity, cold, energy, etc. Also by avoiding the nightlife. Paris is a great city to go out in, but I was having very little of that. Light at the end of the tunnel was too close.
The big news here was that after months of persistence, I was able to get...

London
I arrived in London Sunday night with a full blown flu. Two of my friends were kind enough to put me up for two days. Monday I spent the entire day in the cold running around to appointments. It was a successful trip from a business perspective, but my flu reached unheard of heights. If I had to guess, I think Monday night my fever reached 105. I want to say 106, but I think thats crazy talk. And...
United in Manchester
Manchester was a completely different experience. It was Saturday and I was now looking to maybe chill out because I felt a little flu coming on. Tareq of Seen Optical in Manchester hit me up about 2 months ago with interest in my collection. I told him I’d make a stop on my “EuroTrip” if he’d see me on a Saturday. Once he acquiesced, the trip was planned. What was I...
Intermission: Above the Clouds
Was freezing leaving Copenhagen at 6am.
Up above it was beautiful though.
Next stop was Manchester, UK.

Kobenhavn
Copenhagen was cold…very very cold.
But then the sun came out for a second, and it felt a little warmer, but I was still cold.
The ultimate warmth came when Poul Stig Briller loved my brand. Some consider this the single best door in all of Europe. Its hard to get into and they sell a ton. I thought they were really cool people, great store, great product and we are...

Brick Breaker
Greg Lucci is insanely gifted at Brick Breaker. To the point where it’s hard to imagine that he has time for anything else in his day…
About 3 weeks ago Buscemi and Lucci from Gourmet came to the store to visit. At that time Lucci had a score on Brick Breaker that was beyond anything I have ever seen.
This was the score.
Last Saturday he came to visit again. He has the same...
Marios Tacos of Pico Rivera
Everyone in Los Angeles thinks they know where the best “whole in the wall” taco place is. Actually I should rephrase that, Everyone in LA has an opinion on where to find the best tacos, burritos, and mexican food in general. And for the most part, people always like to recommend a whole in the wall or even a “taco” truck. As cliche as that has become, it is actually good...
Gjelina Take Away Preview
I’m not sure if the Gjelina peoples are down with this preview, but I had to do it. Its an opportunity to break some news. Anyway, today Russell gave me a little tour of whats to come….
This entire place is custom. Not one detail left out of this Original Venice design Sam Marshall & Anthony Agriam at their finest.
Fabricated locally.
What you are looking at here is the...
Hometown Hardware
No matter where you live, everyone has one. A local hardware store. Some of you may be regulars at your local hardware store and some of you have only been there 5-10 times. Either way, it saves a drive to Home Depot, and its always personal. And filled with hardware wall to wall, floor to ceiling. I’ve always wondered how they pay for all the goods they have in there. Tools and hardware are...
Rose Bowl Flea Market
Went to the Pasadena Rose Bowl for the monthly flea market early this past Sunday morning. The flea market is a pretty amazing place for great bargains and interesting goods. Everything from vintage clothing to modern and vintage furniture, trinkets, toys, books, bags, and bows. There isn’t anything this place doesn’t have.
First things first, I went to check the field that just...
Ron Wants To Meet You Again
Actually I want you to meet Ron Moon again. Very few times in life do you come across a man like Ron Moon. Incredibly creative, funny even beyond the word itself, whiskey loving, pug loving, madness of a Jewish man. If it only wasn’t so hard to get your script picked up in this town, you would know who he is already. Instead he spends 14 hours a day editing crappy to relatively good tv...
Welcome to 2011
Hello to all or any of our fans. 2011 here we come. I probably can’t even imagine what this year has in store for the A. Kinney Court team. With the launch of our new line, the addition of a web store, and plenty more, we are definitely trying to make a splash. All I can say is we are excited and looking forward to see what this year has in store for us. We’re also excited to show...
